Sorry about not posting anything for the month of March. We are in the swing of things for April and the learning continues.  Again, we are moving right along and having lots of fun in the process. 

     This month, we will be focusing on the letters and sounds for V, Q, E, X, & Y.  Our Sight Words are: how, made, after, when, of, get, for, want, over & came.   Our sight words are becoming harder and over the years, I have noticed that students have a much more difficult time remembering these words.  Please be sure to write sentences using these words on Thursdays.  We have been seeing some very good work coming back.  I have very proud of our students!  Please make sure your child is reading easy books to you at home.  I will start sending home read-alongs shortly.  These books are to be returned daily.  You will be receiving a notice shortly.  Together we can make a difference!
